Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - SRE to support Grafana Cloud databases built on Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope. You will own production reliability for high-SLA and complex customer environments, partnering with product engineering squads while driving automation to scale reliability.

Key responsibilities include incident response leadership, design of SLOs, and collaboration on architecture to ensure scalable, observable systems in a remote, global team.

Formación

• 8+ years engineering experience, 4+ in SRE/CRE/production engineering.
• Experience operating multi-tenant systems in production.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with IaC tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Own production reliability for high-SLA environments.
• Design and implement automation to scale reliability practices.
• Define and evolve per-tenant SLOs and reliability models.
• Proactively reduce SLO burn to prevent repeat incidents.
• Lead customer-impacting incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Contribute to design docs and code reviews.
• Improve alert quality and reduce noisy escalations.
• Collaborate with product engineering to influence roadmaps.
