Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field; 10+ years of qualified experience.
Experience as a PROJECT MANAGER PRINCIPAL (Grade 9) preferred; PMP certification required or waiver approved.
Knowledge of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile) and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert level proficiency.
Develop and control project plans, schedules, budgets, tools, and staff; reallocate funding as needed.
Communicate detailed project updates to stakeholders and hold planning meetings.
Ensure safety and Zero Harm and adherence to AEP System Safety Process.
Represent AEP with customers, vendors, and regulators; align projects to organizational standards.
Provide training, guidance, and performance accountability to project teams.
