Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking a Staff Solution Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives and serve as the technical advisor for customers. You will surface business needs, design solutions, and help customers realize value from Confluent technology.

You will lead discovery, deliver talks/workshops, and guide deployment maturity while collaborating with product and engineering teams across the LATAM region and wider ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Portuguese speaking (BiLingual)
• Extensive experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture, Data Integration & Processing
• Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment & Application Development
• Experience with Automation, GitOps and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL
• Technical certifications - Cloud Developer/Architect, Data Engineering & Integration
• Clear self-starter with eagerness to learn and solve hard problems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience with LATAM Countries

Responsibilities

• Advance new and innovative Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live
• Lead technical proofs of concept and coordinate with Account Executives
• Conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions to shape new use-cases
• Provide thought leadership via technical talks and workshops
• Guide customers with hands-on help to mature deployments
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to advocate for customers across ecosystems
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and partners
