Foodsmart is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead design and scaling of backend and data systems powering consumer experiences, clinical workflows, and partner integrations. This is a technical leadership role with no people management, focused on architecture ownership and cross-team collaboration.
You will work with product, data, and engineering leadership to build secure, scalable systems compliant with healthcare-grade requirements, including HIPAA-aware design and cloud-native
Competenze
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of full stack systems.
- Experience building modern web and mobile applications (web, iOS/Android, or React Native).
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript across backend and frontend.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
Mansioni
- Own and evolve end-to-end architecture across frontend, mobile, backend, and data platforms.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems handling healthcare data.
- Lead design reviews and RFCs for multi-team initiatives.
- Ensure systems meet enterprise-grade availability, performance, and compliance.
