You will own the architectural direction for fund movements across crypto and fiat rails, drive reliability and scale, and lead cross-functional initiatives impacting millions of customers. Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Backend programming in Go, Ruby, Python, or Java.
• Experience with financial or high-reliability systems where correctness, auditability, and idempotency matter.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Responsible use of Generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture of Transfers' fund movement systems and drive scalability and correctness.
• Lead cross-team engineering initiatives with Payments, Trading, and product engineering teams to deliver new capabilities.
• Evolve backend infrastructure using modern cloud-native patterns and preemptively address scaling bottlenecks.
• Set engineering standards, code review practices, and architectural patterns to raise quality and reduce risk.
• Mentor engineers on system design and distributed systems best practices.
