Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a new rapid innovation team focused on turning ambitious ideas into working software. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA metro areas.

You will drive architectural direction, prototype high-impact concepts, and mentor engineers while coordinating with CTO and product leadership.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience across multiple areas
• Strong backend development experience, preferably Java
• Experience designing architecture for complex projects
• Proven ability to move from concept to implementation
• Experience with frontend tech (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) and APIs

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design and build working software for new product concepts and experiments
• Define architecture and technical direction for early-stage projects
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through reviews
• Collaborate with CTO, engineering leaders, and product teams across Keeper
