Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Rapid Innovation team.

You will shape technical approaches, build prototypes, and guide ideas from concept to productization while working across backend, frontend, desktop, and AI-enabled capabilities. Join a hands-on leader in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with CTO and engineering teams to deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience across multiple areas.
• Strong fundamentals and ability to design complete applications, services and integrations.
• Experience leading technical architecture and execution for complex projects.
• Ability to independently take ambiguous or minimally defined ideas from concept through implementation.
• Strong backend development experience, preferably with Java and modern service-oriented architectures.
• Experience building frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs, backend services, databases and third‑party technologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across unfamiliar systems and codebases.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks and domains quickly.
• Ability to make effective technical tradeoffs when speed and experimentation matter more than long-term production architecture.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software engineering, research, debugging and prototyping.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and handoff requirements.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design and build working software for new product concepts and strategic initiatives.
• Take loosely defined ideas from concept through functional implementation with minimal specifications.
• Define architecture and technical direction for early-stage projects, balancing speed, security and scalability.
• Work across backend, frontend, desktop, platform, integration and infrastructure technologies as needed.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java and other appropriate technologies.
• Build modern user experiences using JavaScript, TypeScript, React and related technologies.
• Evaluate unfamiliar technologies, frameworks and APIs to become productive quickly.
• Integrate AI models, APIs and AI capabilities with partner teams when appropriate.
• Identify technical risks and validate feasibility for productization.
• Create documentation and architecture guidance to support long-term ownership.
