Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician experiences and performance management. You will architect highly distributed systems, set technical direction, and mentor engineers.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, polyglot programming skills, and strong cloud and front-end capabilities (React/TypeScript). This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer across multiple languages (C++, C#, Java, Golang, Javascript, Typescript, Python).
• 6+ months of using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems end-to-end.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and full-stack patterns.
• Strong experience with cloud vendors: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Ability to travel quarterly.
• 7–10 years of work experience.
• Adept at problem solving, collaboration, growth mindset, execution, and BI.
