Job summary

Signify Health is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician experiences and performance management. You will architect distributed systems, set technical direction, and mentor peers across teams.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, strong knowledge of multiple programming languages, full-stack development, and cloud expertise (Azure/AWS/GCP). Travel is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Proficiency as a polyglot software engineer with experience in multiple languages (C++, C#, Java, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity and code quality.
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS) and full-stack patterns.
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Clear communication and collaboration skills; ability to travel.
• 7–10 years of work experience.
• Proactive with growth mindset and execution excellence.
• Experience with BI is a plus.
