Signify Health is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician-facing experiences. You will architect and build large-scale distributed systems, set technical direction, and mentor teams across the organization.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, modern frontend tech, cloud platforms, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. A bachelor's degree is preferred and travel is expected periodically.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering and problem solving.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer with multiple languages.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing, building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (React/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/JS) and full-stack patterns.
• Strong experience with cloud vendors: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to travel quarterly or as needed.
• 7-10 years of work experience.
• Diplomatic collaboration and growth mindset.
• Experience with business intelligence.
