Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician-facing experiences and performance management. You will lead distributed systems, set technical direction, and mentor teams across the organization.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, full-stack capabilities, strong SQL, and cloud expertise (Azure/AWS/GCP). Expect collaboration, rapid delivery, and a focus on maintainability and scale.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer across multiple languages (C++, C#, Java, Golang, Javascript/Typescript, Python).
• 6+ months of AI-assisted development tools experience (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, distributed systems in production.
• Strong SQL skills and RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with modern front-end tech (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS) and full-stack patterns.
• Proficient in cloud vendors: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Clear communication and ability to travel quarterly as needed.
• 7-10 years of work experience.
• Adept at collaboration, growth mindset, execution and BI.
