Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician-facing experiences and performance management. You will architect highly distributed systems, guide technical direction, and mentor teammates to raise the engineering bar.

This hands-on role requires deep full-stack capabilities, strong SQL, and experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). You will collaborate across teams and drive scalable solutions for healthcare at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer with multiple languages.
• 6+ months of AI-assisted development tools usage to improve productivity and code quality.
• Full-stack development experience to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with modern front-end tech (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS) and full-stack patterns.
• Cloud vendor experience: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Clear communication and ability to travel quarterly or as needed.
