Job summary

NetDocuments is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape the next generation of our document management platform. You will lead architecture and deliver scalable, production-grade full stack applications across React, TypeScript, Node.js, C#/.NET, and AWS.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will drive API design (REST/GraphQL), architect event-driven systems, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product and Design to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance software at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering delivering production-grade applications at scale.
• 3+ years of technical leadership and influencing engineering direction.
• Deep experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Backend development with C#/.NET or Java and TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience designing event-driven, service-oriented, microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural discussions and define engineering standards across frontend, backend, and distributed systems.
• Architect and build production-grade full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, C#/.NET, and AWS.
• Design event-driven architectures with AWS services, Kafka, and modern data pipelines.
• Build scalable REST and GraphQL APIs and enable AI-powered features.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product/Design to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
