Cardinal Health is seeking a BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer in the US. The role is a full‑stack software engineer delivering reporting and insights from clinical data to transform healthcare into a safer, more cost‑effective industry.

You will build analytic products from EMR, PMS and PDS data, create dashboards and reports, and advance data pipelines. The position emphasizes CI/CD, open-source tech, and cloud tools within healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good work ethic and sense of humor
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (OOP, Declarative, Functional)
• Python experience is required
• SSIS experience is preferred
• Airflow experience is desired
• Data visualization experience with Tableau is desired
• Must have SQL experience with relational databases, MS SQL preferred
• Comfortable working with open-source technologies
• Experience with healthcare data is preferredExperience building & deployment pipelines to support CI/CD; ArgoCD, Harbor, Liquibase
• Experience with GCP is preferred; GKE Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Building analytic products from clinical data sets sourced from multiple systems (EMR labs, PMS, PDS).
• Providing reports and dashboards to help practices and pharmaceutical companies drive efficacy and usage of clinical products
• Enriching data elements from reference source systems to enhance our analytic offerings
• Developing and defining new products to enable pharmaceutical manufacturers’ key data initiatives
• Supporting and building Sales enablement tools to provide feasibility requests to manufacturers
• Daily operations and support
