Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer, a full-stack software craftsman who will work across all layers of our analytics platform to deliver reporting and insights that transform healthcare.

In an agile environment you will build analytic products from EMR, PMS, and PDS data, create reports and dashboards, and contribute to data pipelines and deployment tooling to support CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good work ethic and sense of humor
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (OOP, Declarative, Functional)
• Python experience is required
• SSIS experience is preferred
• Airflow experience is desired
• Data visualization experience with Tableau is desired
• Must have SQL experience with relational databases, MS SQL preferred
• Comfortable working with open-source technologies
• Experience with healthcare data is preferred
• Experience building & deployment pipelines to support CI/CD; ArgoCD, Harbor, Liquibase
• Experience with GCP is preferred; GKE Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Building analytic products from clinical data sets that is sourced from multiple systems, including EMR Systems (EMR), Practice Management Systems (PMS), and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS)
• Providing direct value to practices and pharmaceutical companies by building reports and dashboards to help them drive efficacy and usage of clinical products
• Enriching data elements from other reference source systems to enhance our analytic offerings
• Develop and define new products to enable pharmaceutical manufacturers’ key data initiatives
• Support and build Sales enablement tools to provide feasibility requests to manufacturers
• Daily operations and support
