Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician experiences and performance management. You will architect and build distributed systems, set technical direction, and mentor teammates across the organization.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, strong cloud and full-stack skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Travel quarterly and a focus on measurable impact are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering with problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, and concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer across multiple languages (C++, C#, Java, Golang, Javascript/Typescript, Python, etc.).
• 6+ months of AI-assisted development tooling experience (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Strong cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Clear communication; ability to travel quarterly; 7–10 years of work experience.
• Growth mindset, collaboration, and delivery focus.
• Experience with business intelligence.
