Illumio is seeking a software engineer to build containerized microservices in a distributed, multi-tenant system. You will typically write Go, work with data pipelines, and run on Kubernetes across cloud platforms. Mentor teammates and own features through the full development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Product Management, own operational aspects of the system, and contribute to secure, scalable software for real-time insights and security recommendations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent; master's preferred.
• 2+ years building distributed, scalable software and systems.
• Proficiency in Go and SQL; REST API client experience; Unix/Linux.

Responsabilidades

• Develop containerized microservices for a distributed multi-tenant system processing data and real time events.
• Design and defend service architecture, delivering rock-solid implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers, new grads, and interns to grow as engineers.
• Write code in Go; work with data pipelines using SQL and interfaces; run on Kubernetes.
• Own features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
• Own operational aspects and write robust, maintainable software.
• Maintain code quality with early testing and integration checks.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and meet customer expectations.
• Develop deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder interaction.
