Job summary

Illumio is seeking engineers to develop containerized microservices for a distributed, multi-tenant system. You will process real-time data and network telemetry across multiple clouds to provide insights, visibility, and security recommendations.

You will design and defend architectures, own features end-to-end, and mentor junior engineers. Go and SQL are core, with Kubernetes on the platform; AWS/Azure/GCP experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent required.
• 4+ years building distributed & scalable software and systems.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP at API/programming level.
• Go and SQL proficiency required; REST API client experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop containerized (micro) services for a multi-tenant system handling real-time data and network telemetry across clouds.
• Design, defend, and implement service architectures with peer review.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns to grow engineering capability.
• Write Go code and work with data pipelines using SQL or similar interfaces; use Kubernetes for platform.
