Job summary

Atria Health Institute seeks a Staff Software Engineer for the Foundations team, building platform services, EMR integrations, and robust tooling across product squads.

You will own end-to-end delivery, drive architecture decisions, improve performance, reliability, and analytics, and mentor engineers in a cross-functional health-tech environment.

Qualifications

• ~8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with senior/staff IC level.
• Experience owning and shipping multi-team projects in modern web stacks.
• Experience collaborating with product and design on user-facing features.
• Ability to lead technical decisions in ambiguous domains with clear tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical vision and architecture for the Foundations group.
• Define integration patterns, caching infra, and shared services for clinical/member experiences.
• Serve as escalation point for complex platform challenges and ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Drive SLOs, capacity planning, and incident-ready designs for owned systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and uphold engineering standards across teams.
