Job summary

Atria Health Institute is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Foundations team, leading platform direction across development, DevOps, and data engineering. You will own core services for EMR integrations, caching strategies, and internal tooling to empower clinical and member experiences.

With ~8+ years in senior software roles, you will guide architecture, ensure reliability, and collaborate with clinicians to translate complex problems into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• ~8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with senior staff IC experience.
• Experience shipping multi-team projects in modern web stacks and collaborating with product/design teams.
• Strong skills in API design, data modeling, and platform services for clinical products.
• Experience with reliability, performance, security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision for the Foundations group.
• Lead architecture decisions for integration patterns, caching infra, and shared services.
• Serve as a technical escalation point and conduct design reviews for reliability and security.
• Drive SLOs, capacity planning, and incident-ready designs across owned services.
• Own end-to-end delivery for cross-team initiatives and platform improvements.
• Embed analytics and monitoring to reflect real user and clinical outcomes.
