Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience in production-grade distributed systems.
• Direct FCM or derivatives experience with ownership of parts of the futures lifecycle.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go preferred; Java or similar) and high-availability architectures.
• Experience in a regulated financial environment where correctness and auditability matter.
• Track record delivering end-to-end across scoping, architecture, implementation, and monitoring.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own design and architecture across the FCM core from data to settlement and risk.
• Drive the next-gen replatforming and reduce legacy dependencies while boosting stability.
• Set technical bar with reviews and standards, reducing critical debt.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Ops, Finance, and Compliance to deliver auditable systems.
• Mentor engineers and elevate code quality and architectural rigor.
