Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a software engineer in New York to build core datacenter lifecycle systems and tooling that power large-scale compute builds. You will embed with site, energy, and supply chain teams, understand their workflows, and deliver trusted data platforms to accelerate decision making.

You will work with researchers and engineers to model complex domain data, implement APIs and Kubernetes-scale systems, and ship features that move compute online faster while maintaining data quality

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience.
Strong full-stack skills with data modeling, APIs and databases.
Experience building software that supports datacenter, construction, energy, logistics, or similar domains.
Track record of zero-to-one work in startup or startup-like environments.
User-centric approach and clear cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

Build core systems that track a datacenter's lifecycle (sites, designs, BOMs, equipment, construction progress).
Embed with datacenter, energy, and supply chain teams to map workflows and enable them to reach for first.
Migrate and reconcile spreadsheets and legacy trackers, and integrate with industry tools (construction management, scheduling, ERP).
Design for trust with fine-grained permissions, auditability and data quality to inform large investments.
Ship early and iterate with users to deliver compute online faster.
Collaborate with research to understand model capabilities and limitations in physical-world domains.
