GE Vernova, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and modernize cloud-based tools that connect engineering systems and accelerate wind turbine projects from design to field.

You will join a global, collaborative team, mentor teammates, and work onsite Monday to Thursday. Required skills include Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, AWS, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 2+ years of software development in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with product owners and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenville, SC Mon-Thu.

Mansioni

• Design, code, test, and document full-stack web applications.
• Partner with Product Owners to shape the roadmap for the engineering tool suite.
• Improve aeroelastic modeling and design flow processes in wind turbine tools.
• Evaluate and adopt new digital technologies to improve efficiency.
• Work with a global team and train users.
• Coach and mentor teammates.
