GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and modernize cloud-based tools that connect engineering systems and accelerate wind turbine projects from design to reality. You will work with a global, collaborative team, mentor peers, and shape the digital roadmap while delivering full-stack applications across the lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 2+ years of Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript experience.
• Experience with product owners and cross-functional teams.
• Onsite in Greenville, SC Mon–Thu.

Mansioni

• Design, code, test, and document full-stack web applications through the full software lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Owners and engineering and digital teams to shape the roadmap for our engineering tool suite.
• Improve aeroelastic modeling and design flow processes in wind turbine engineering tools.
• Evaluate and add new digital technologies that make internal applications and development more efficient.
• Work with a global team and train users on the tools you build.
• Coach and mentor teammates in your areas of expertise.
