GE Vernova, Inc. in Greenville seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and modernize cloud-based tooling that connects engineering systems and speeds customer proposals.

You will help take wind turbines from design to reality faster, collaborating with a global team and mentoring peers. The role emphasizes modern software engineering, onboard growth, and contributing to the digital roadmap while working onsite in Greenville, SC, Tuesday through Thursday plus training and knowledge

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of programming experience, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software development experience in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with product owners and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenville, SC Monday to Thursday.

Job Description

Who You Are

You are an experienced software engineer who enjoys turning complex engineering workflows into clear, reliable web applications, and who works well with both engineers and business partners.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• 5 or more years of programming experience, or equivalent
• 2 or more years of software development experience in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript
• Experience working with product owners and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work onsite in Greenville, SC Monday to Thursday

Preferred Qualifications

• Java or Kotlin web application development
• Angular, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Cloud computing, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Wind turbine design domain experience
• Experience with engineering simulation workflows
• Experience guiding change in an inclusive way

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
