Job summary

HCVT is building a new Azure cloud platform to support a multi-year modernization program. The Staff Software Engineer will lead application engineering, architecting and coding new solutions while modernizing legacy applications onto the platform.

You will set the technical direction, establish reusable patterns, and raise the engineering bar as the team grows. Our largest footprint is C#/.NET on Azure, with broader cloud language coverage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production applications experience with architecture ownership.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant applications with data isolation and security.
• Strong Azure PaaS development with C#/.NET, App Service, and services.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture for the new Azure platform and front-end portal.
• Lead multi-module design with identity, tenant context, and telemetry.
• Design and enforce multi-tenant isolation and secure access controls.
• Build integration patterns and anti-corruption layers for third-party systems.
• Ensure resilience with idempotent writes, retry, and circuit breakers.
• Lead data migration and SOC 2–aligned security considerations.
