Job summary

HCVT is building a new Azure-based cloud platform to modernize multiple applications. The Staff Software Engineer will lead the engineering direction, establish reusable patterns, and drive the transition of legacy systems to cloud-native solutions on Azure.

You will partner with Azure Cloud Engineers and IT security teams, shaping the paved path for scalable, secure, and observable software across the firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production applications and services.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant applications with data isolation and secure access.
• Experience delivering through CI/CD with automated quality and security gates.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture for the new platform, balancing scalability and security.
• Own the canonical work model and a modular architecture.
• Design and enforce multi-tenant isolation for clients and data across modules.
• Build integration layer to third-party platforms with versioned contracts.
• Lead cloud-native app development on Azure PaaS and data platforms.
• Set engineering standards, code reviews, and security practices.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring as the program grows.
• Lead data migration and ensure data quality and auditability.
