Job summary

Sony SEPS is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development of the Sony Engagement Platform. You will design secure, scalable applications and deliver exceptional user experiences across Sony's global ecosystem.

Responsibilities include API development, collaboration with front-end teams, data modeling, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in large codebases.
• Proven experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python; REST API design.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript ecosystem; React/Angular/Ember.
• Awareness of UI/UX design principles; strong collaboration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop RESTful API endpoints with high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver dynamic, user-centric web applications.
• Define data models and database schemas; ensure data integrity and performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, design, and configurations.
• Provide accurate task estimates and contribute to sprint planning.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and improvement.
• Uphold honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct in all responsibilities.
