Job summary

Sony Engagement Platform Services (SEPS) seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance internal applications powering Sony's engagement ecosystem. You will work across front-end and back-end to deliver secure, scalable, user-centric solutions for global business units.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver innovative features in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience with medium/large code bases.
• Full Stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python.
• REST API design and implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript ecosystems (React/Angular/Ember).
• UI/UX design principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop RESTful API Endpoints with performance and scalability in mind.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to build dynamic, user-centric web applications.
• Define robust data models and database schemas for relational or NoSQL databases.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, configuration, and maintenance.
• Provide accurate task estimations and contribute to sprint planning.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system uptime.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Maintain honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct.
