Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Backend to join a leader in the Consumer Technology space. The role focuses on shaping backend architecture for AI-driven experiences, with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.

You will collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure partners to deliver high-performance systems that support critical applications and evolving customer needs.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience architecting high-performance distributed systems.
• Advanced programming skills in Golang, Node.js, or React.
• Strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability in system design.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Backend to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will help shape backend architecture for next-generation AI-driven consumer experiences, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.

You will collaborate closely with product, design, operations, and infrastructure partners to deliver high-performance systems that support critical applications and evolving customer needs.

The ideal candidate will bring deep distributed systems experience, strong programming skills, and the ability to define technical direction in an environment that values innovation and architectural integrity.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $185,000 - $200,000 annually

Qualifications

• Strong background in CI/CD and operational excellence for high-quality code delivery
