You will design reliable APIs, build asynchronous processing, and contribute to a cloud-native infrastructure using containers and Kubernetes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production quality and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on production software development.
• Proficiency building backend APIs with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with asynchronous and distributed processing concepts.
• Ability to write effective unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will focus on building the backend services and cloud capabilities that power a distributed software platform. You will partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable APIs, asynchronous processing, and infrastructure that support scalable execution workflows. The work will emphasize production quality, service reliability, and seamless communication between systems in a cloud-native environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build systems for orchestrating work, including job submission and execution tracking.
• Develop reliable asynchronous and event-driven systems using messaging and queues.
