Job summary

HCVT LLP is building a modern Azure-based platform to support a multi-year modernization program. The Staff Software Engineer will lead application engineering, set technical direction, and craft reusable patterns across a cloud-first stack on Azure.

You will collaborate with the Azure Cloud Engineer and IT security teams to modernize legacy systems, define standards, and deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production applications and services.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant applications with data isolation.
• Hands-on Azure PaaS development using App Service/Container Apps and Key Vault.

Responsibilities

• Own the target-state architecture for the new platform, balancing scalability and security.
• Design and enforce multi-tenant isolation across modules and data.
• Lead application data design, migration, and security controls to SOC 2 standards.
• Ship changes through CI/CD with quality gates and automated testing.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and code reviews as the team grows.
