Job summary

HCVT is building a new Azure cloud platform to support a multi-year modernization program. The Staff Software Engineer will lead application engineering, set technical direction, and code new solutions while modernizing legacy apps onto Azure.

You will own the platform's front door, establish reusable patterns, and guide teams as the footprint centers on C#/.NET Core on Azure, while extending to other cloud languages as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production applications and services.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant applications with data isolation.
• Hands-on Azure PaaS development and CI/CD delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture for a new platform balancing scalability, security, and reliability.
• Define a canonical work model and composable modules with shared identity and telemetry.
• Design multi-tenant isolation for external users and secure access controls.
• Build integration patterns and adapters to third-party platforms with versioned contracts.
• Lead security design including authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
