Job summary

HCVT LLP is building a new Azure cloud platform to modernize legacy applications, leading application engineering, and setting the technical direction for a scalable, secure, multi-tenant environment on Azure.

You will work with the platform team to ship code through CI/CD, establish patterns, and drive architectural decisions for both client-facing and internal systems, with a focus on data integrity and governance in a tax and accounting context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production applications and services.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant applications with data isolation and secure access.
• Strong cloud-native experience on Azure with PaaS services and modern languages.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture for a new platform and front door for clients.
• Define reusable API and integration patterns; build integrations with third-party platforms.
• Lead application security design, authentication, authorization, and SOC 2 controls awareness.
• Guide engineering standards, code reviews, and hands-on leadership across a greenfield and modernization program.
• Ensure resilient, scalable systems with idempotent patterns and robust observability.
