Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, driving dashboards, microservices, and third-party integrations.

As a hands-on technical leader, you’ll champion DevOps, embed AI features, mentor teams, and guide the tech roadmap across the stack, focusing on optimizing Payer metadata, contracts, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development, architecture, and scalable apps.
• Experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization libraries.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect and implement rich dashboards and data visualizations.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers across systems.
