Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead a small product engineering team in San Francisco. You will own customer-facing features end to end, guide junior engineers, and set engineering practices and architecture from an early stage.

You will work across full-stack development, including AI-driven features, collaborate with product, customers and leadership, and help shape the next generation of healthcare technology products at Raydar.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience directing a technical team and leading major initiatives.
• Product engineering background delivering customer-facing products.
• Full-stack capability with end-to-end ownership.
• Recent hands-on work with language-model features in production.
• Set and enforce code quality and review standards.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of AI-driven product features from design to release.
• Lead and mentor a small group of junior engineers, setting code review standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with product, customer-facing staff and leadership to scope what gets built next.
• Design and deliver full-stack work spanning frontend, backend, infrastructure and data pipelines.
