Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Product Engineer to take ownership of product features across backend services and user interfaces. This role suits an early-career engineer who can deliver complete work with minimal direction and learn what users need.

You will own internal systems end to end, build matching and scheduling features, develop predictive analytics to boost workforce retention, and create data pipelines for operations. A strong product sense and AI tooling fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 6 years of software engineering experience; strong new graduates are considered if they shipped software to real users.
• Strong full-stack skills, including designing backends that scale and that other engineers can build on.
• Product sense and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver working features end to end without close guidance.
• Solid design sense and comfort building user interfaces for end users.
• Fluency with AI tools alongside a high quality bar.
• Able to work on site six to seven days a week, with long hours common.

Responsibilities

• Own several internal product systems end to end, from backend design to frontend experience.
• Build automated matching and scheduling features that weigh several criteria at once.
• Develop predictive analytics that help improve workforce retention.
• Build data pipelines for operational data.
• Turn feature and automation requests into working releases, collaborating with the people who raise them face to face at times.
• Establish clean, repeatable code patterns while using AI-assisted coding tools.
