Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join a remote team focused on scalable healthcare solutions. You will help architect modern applications, strengthen platform reliability, and translate business needs into secure, high-performing software.

You will advance cloud-native delivery practices, AI-enabled functionality, and data-driven user experiences across web, data, and integration layers. Remote US-based; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development and scalable applications.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with data visualization libraries such as D3.js.
• Deep expertise in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or Go, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, plus data integration.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI models and APIs into software products.
• Expert-level knowledge of public cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications from frontend to backend.
• Architect and implement interactive dashboards that present complex data insights intuitively.
• Design and develop secure APIs and integration layers for seamless data connections.
• Champion the integration of AI/ML technologies into core products to automate workflows.
• Build advanced MFT automations with intelligent error handling and proactive monitoring.
• Drive continuous delivery and cloud-native best practices, optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish standards for monitoring and performance profiling, leading root-cause analysis for production issues.
