Ladders is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Technical Track to join a client leading in the aerospace & defense sector. This remote role is US-based, with no visa sponsorship available, and focuses on building full-stack systems for safety research and advanced initiatives.

You will shape architecture, guide data model evolution, and ensure engineering practices scale as the organization grows. This is a senior position with mentorship responsibilities and cross-team collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of software development experience with focus on platform security.
• Proficiency in React and Python; strong SDLC understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of full-stack software systems for safety research.
• Implement service boundaries and evolve data models for integration.
• Set technical direction and align architecture with priorities.
• Design complex systems in ambiguous environments.
• Ensure consistency in engineering practices and AI-assisted standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new software engineers.
