Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge complex backend data systems with AI capabilities and frontend experiences, architect dashboards, and drive AI-enabled features across the product suite.

You will mentor teams, champion DevOps, and optimize the technology stack, focusing on payer metadata, contract lifecycle automation, and performance measurement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Experience with scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Relational and NoSQL databases; ORM usage.
• Hands-on AI model integration (OpenAI/Anthropic) and LangChain.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and UI for intuitive data insights.
• Design secure APIs and data integration layers.
• Drive AI-enabled features to automate workflows and insights.
• Lead DevOps, CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaC.
• Mentor teams and shape the technical roadmap.
• Tackle ambiguous requirements with stakeholders.
