Affirm is seeking a senior software engineer to own technical strategy for an account-management security-focused team within the Trust & Safety space. You will help design scalable backend systems, collaborate across product, design and analytics, and drive quality through established conventions and on-call readiness.

You will lead by example, mentoring teammates and shaping architecture for large, complex systems while communicating effectively with a global engineering audience.

Competenze

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using Python/Kotlin/AWS/Kubernetes.
• Proficient in developing web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience delivering major features or deprecating functionality with a clear technical plan.
• Comfort with ambiguity and understanding architecture of large systems.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
