affirm is seeking a senior software engineer to lead backend and platform initiatives within the Trust & Safety group. You will own long-term technical strategy, collaborate with product, design, and analytics to ensure scalable, secure systems, and drive operational excellence across on-call readiness and release processes.

Competenze

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience building web UIs with React or Vue.
• Ability to define technical strategy and drive cross-team initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a global engineering team.
