Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security to advance paved-road security controls across our Dasher products. This forward-deployed role operates in Pods focused on application hardening, anti-reversing, and payment security within our global delivery ecosystem.

You will lead the technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Legal, Data, and engineering teams to ship secure by design AI products for a 24x7, high-scale platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Security Product Engineering at an Internet-scale organization.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven leadership across AI Security, Account Security, and Product Security Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and roadmap for hardening of Dasher Security Products.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Legal, Security Engineering Platform and Data teams to build proactive security controls.
• Conduct AI-enabled vulnerability discovery and automated remediation to protect the company.
• Mentor and coach engineers, setting high standards for operational excellence.
