Job summary

DoorDash seeks an Engineering Manager, Proactive Security to set and lead the technical direction for platform hardening across global deployments. This US-remote role reports to the Director of Security Engineering and drives hardened, secure-by-default controls on cloud and access services.

You will coach tech leads, collaborate across Core Infrastructure and Data teams, and champion high-uptime OE practices with strong on-call rigor.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Security or Infrastructure Platform Engineering at internet-scale.
• 3+ years of demonstrated technical leadership leading teams globally.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Security Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience hardening AWS and/or GCP at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision for the Security Platform team.
• Lead hardening of tier-0 cloud infrastructure and access services.
• Coach and mentor tech leads and engineers as a player-coach.
• Partner with Core Infrastructure, Compute and Data teams to harden platforms.
