CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design, build, and deliver cloud-native solutions within a distributed system on Google Cloud Platform, helping simplify healthcare navigation.

You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and data science teams to create scalable, secure systems that improve cost estimation and care navigation for members, providers, and service agents.

Formación

• 7+ years delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems
• 5+ years programming in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript
• 5+ years building cloud-based enterprise solutions
• 5+ years building microservices and scalable APIs
• 3+ years CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps
• 3+ years containerization and orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with AI/GenAI platforms in software products

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software within the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio
• Drive architecture across distributed services, APIs, and platform components for scalability and security
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate business priorities into production solutions
• Provide technical leadership and manage dependencies and tradeoffs
• Design, build, and enhance cloud-native apps and microservices using modern patterns
• Ensure non-functional requirements: performance, availability, failover, scalability, security
• Evaluate architectures and improve reliability and cost-efficiency
• Lead PoC development and explore AI/GenAI capabilities relevant to portfolio
• Mentor engineers and perform design and code reviews
• Communicate with stakeholders to align across teams and domains
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements
