CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to help design, build, and deliver cloud-based systems within the Cost Estimation and Navigation AI portfolio. You will work on distributed services and microservices within Google Cloud Platform, shaping scalable, secure solutions for healthcare navigation.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and data science teams, and ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements while delivering high-impact

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems.
• 5+ years in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• 5+ years designing and operating cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years building microservices and scalable APIs.
• 3+ years CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• 3+ years containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI/GenAI platforms and applying capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software within the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.
• Drive architecture and design across distributed services, APIs, and platform components.
• Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate priorities into production-ready solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, manage dependencies, and address engineering tradeoffs.
• Design, build, and enhance cloud-native applications, microservices, and APIs.
• Define and ensure non-functional requirements including performance, availability, and security.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence through reviews and guidance.
• Communicate with stakeholders to build alignment across teams and boundaries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements for PII/PHI.
