Job summary

Peninsula Health Center by Harborview in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a Staff Scheduler/Central Supply to manage daily, weekly, and monthly staffing for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Med Techs. You will coordinate onboarding and oversee timekeeping, while working to reduce overtime and ensure coverage.

This role requires compliance with state staffing rules, prompt responses to call-outs, and collaboration with supervisors and vendors. We offer top pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or staff coordination (preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care).
• Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs).
• Manage the reduction of overtime, and ensure timekeeping accuracy
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility staffing requirements for all shifts
• Respond promptly to call-outs and find appropriate coverage to avoid staffing gaps
• Support new employee onboarding by coordinating orientation schedules and shadowing/preceptor shifts
• Collaborate and confer with department supervisors and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action; maintain records for reconciliation
• Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted as required.
• Order, store and stock medical supplies for use by healthcare staff.
