Springfield Health Care Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This role coordinates staffing schedules, ensures coverage, supports employee engagement, and helps maintain continuity of quality resident care. Responsibilities include scheduling, coverage requests, conflict resolution, onboarding support, and compliance with policies and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of administrative/clerical experience; staffing experience is a must.
• CNA, CMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing schedules for nursing and other facility departments.
• Receive and act on requests for staff coverage promptly.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for resident care.
• Collaborate with management and frontline staff to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain employee availability lists and contact information.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and scheduling orientation of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state staffing requirements.
