Job summary

Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Staff Application Engineer, Salesforce to architect, build, and own the Salesforce platform for sales and revenue operations across enterprise product lines. You will start from scratch on Sales Cloud, partner through go-live, and then own the platform.

You’ll influence AI-enabled workflows and MCP integrations that connect CRM data to AI assistants. This is a hands-on staff-level IC role with direction setting, architectural decisions, and sustainable practices

Qualifications

Eight+ years in Salesforce engineering, administration, or architecture.
Led or participated in a complex Salesforce implementation.
Advanced proficiency with Salesforce declarative capabilities (Flow, rules, sharing).
Hands-on ability to read, write, test Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
Experience designing Salesforce data and security models for multiple business units.
Strong knowledge of lead-to-cash processes (quoting, contracting, orders, renewals, finance handoffs).
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP/enterprise platforms via REST or SOAP APIs.
Experience building AI assistants or MCP integrations securely using enterprise data.
Ability to communicate architecture decisions clearly to business leaders, technical teams, and partners.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and lead complex work across teams.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and hands-on development of Mozilla's Salesforce platform across multiple product lines.
Define scalable data models, account structures, sales processes, and sharing rules.
Build Salesforce capabilities using Flow, validation rules, approvals, custom objects, and dashboards.
Design lead-to-cash capabilities spanning quoting, contracting, orders, and renewals.
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite, BigQuery, and other systems.
Establish environment strategy, source control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
Maintain security models, role hierarchies, and sharing architecture per ISO/SOC 2 controls.
Build secure MCP servers and integrations for AI assistants and workflows.
Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Ops, Finance, Legal, Security, and IT to prioritize investments.
Develop a sustainable support model and resolve complex production issues.
