Job summary

Mozilla Foundation is seeking an experienced Salesforce architect to lead the architecture and hands-on development of its Salesforce platform. You will establish scalable data models, security, and integrations while driving environment strategy and deployment pipelines.

The role requires deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Salesforce declarative tools, plus experience integrating with NetSuite and BigQuery. Collaboration with Sales, Revenue Ops, Finance, Legal, and Security is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in Salesforce engineering, administration, or architecture.
• Experience leading or playing a major technical role in complex Salesforce implementations.
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce declarative capabilities (Flow, validation rules, etc.).
• Hands-on ability to read, write, test, and review Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience designing Salesforce data and security models for multiple business units.
• Strong understanding of lead-to-cash processes.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms through REST or SOAP APIs.
• Experience building AI assistants, agents, or MCP integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and hands-on development of Mozilla's Salesforce platform.
• Establish scalable Salesforce architecture covering data models, security, and integrations.
• Build and maintain platform capabilities using Salesforce Flow, validation rules, and custom objects.
• Design lead-to-cash capabilities spanning quoting, contracting, and renewals.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite, BigQuery, and other systems.
• Establish environment strategy, sandbox governance, and deployment pipelines.
• Design and maintain field-level security and permission models in alignment with ISO and SOC 2 controls.
• Build secure MCP servers and integrations for AI assistants and agentic workflows.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Security teams.
• Lead the resolution of complex production issues and platform risks.
